CANDLE VIGIL ON JAN 28th 2012 @ Westlake Center (5:00pm)

Hello everybody,

Thankyou for those people that came to the prayers last Saturday, unfortunately not many people were able to make it.

We are hoping that all Seattle Tibetans will show support at these RTYC events because these Tibetans in Tibet died for the Tibetan cause.

In Tibet it’s very difficult for Tibetans to demonstrate for the cause of Tibet, however we in the West have freedom to demonstrate therefore it’s very important for us to show solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Tibet. We cannot wait for others to help us, as Tibetans we must take on this cause for ourselves.

We would like to thank TAW President, Jampa-la for his sponsorship of the snacks and the tea at Sakya last Saturday

We are looking for additional sponsorships, if you are interested please let me know.

The schedule will be that we will hold prayers or a candlelight vigil every Saturday evening for the next few weeks

There’s a lot for us to do, next Saturday Jan 28th we will hold a candlelight vigil at Westlake Center 5pm please show your solidarity and come to this event.
